SQcam WebCam Driver v0.2

Upgrage version 0.2 by Philippe Corbes 2007/02/06. Downlad Sources here.

I compiled this driver on a Mandriva 2007, kernel 2.6.17-5mdv

What's new:

-Improved plug/unplug. In fact the driver frozen at unplug.
-Modified the gamma correction, adjustable by the "color" parameter in gqcam, spcagi,....
-Added 7 adjustable parameters (gamma, gain by color, offset by color).
-Added the "doc/SQCam.html" file to discribe supported webcams. I tested only my webcam!
-Deleted usbvideo.h. This file depend of the system
-Improved Makefile
Type at prompt:
> make<br> > su > make install

Gamma correction

There is 7 values. The default is 3->(gamma 1).
    0->2.2    1->1.7    2->1.45    3->1    4->0.6896    5->0.5882    6->0.4545

You can adjust this parameter when you change the color parameter.

What are this 7 parameters?

When you load sqcam, you can specify this parameters:

Gamma : Gamma setting range 0 to 6 (The default value is 3-> Gamma=1)
OffsetRed : OffsetRed setting range -128 to 128. (The default value is 0)
OffsetGreen :OffsetGreen setting range -128 to 128.(The default value is 0)
OffsetBlue : OffBlue setting range -128 to 128. (The default value is 0)
GainRed : Gain Red setting range 0 to 512 /256. (The default value is 256)
GainGreen : Gain Green setting range 0 to 512 /256(The default value is 256)
GainBlue : Gain Blue setting range 0 to 512 /256.(The default value is 256)

For example, if you want to change Gamma to 4 and modify the GainRed, add at the end of: '/etc/module.conf' or '/etc/modprobe.conf' file: # SQCam driver config options sqcam Gamma=4 GainRed=220
You can also access to this parameters in :/sys/module/sqcam/parameters
To change Gamma to 4 (after sqcam loaded), type at prompt:
>echo 4 > /sys/module/sqcam/parameters/Gamma
